I'm trying to think of something useful to say, but I'm not so good with the words at the moment, so in effect I'm going to make a real long comment, hiding - much like this - the praise for this outstanding picture in the middle of everything, thus producing a comment that seems both thought through and advanced, but in reality isn't.
Like now, I'm going to say that I love the colors as a starter, the general pinkness of his face goes together with the rest of the elements real well, even more so when taken into consideration the outstanding contrast with his hair and the similiar colors in the background.
The fact that I almost, but only really almost, knows what's going on is also something that makes this something I like looking at. Another thing that makes it nice to look at is that the pictures, while not bad on them own, are just superb while together. The third one is what really catches my attention, but I think that is 'cause of both the one before it and the one after. The one before - only happiness, the one after - only "bad", and the one in the middle - due to his face, it's "bad", but the face in the background, looking almost like a perfect replica of the subject, is smiling so much that it's more a "good" frame.
Also the fact that the subject becomes gradually more obscured by the person(?) entering from the left - which I assume is holding the feather - is just, to use a word, and also to expand the comments verbal plentitude by stating the fact that I'm using this word, I haven't used yet, awesome.
I will be faving this.
And I must say that I haven't proofread anything of what I just wrote, so I'm expecting a plethora of mistakes in both grammar and spelling, as well as misuse of a lot of the words in there.
How's that for an advanced comment, huh? At least it's long
I am growing a bigger and bigger fan of yours, Kristina!
Keep making me proud!
erm..
I didn't find any mistake, so well done Niclas!
It's not a feather, the other guy is holding, it's a poodle. They both have a plush poodle and fake boobs. And those are all crashing into eachother.
I hope I didn't explain too much to take something away
Thanks a lot for this amazing comment! Did you know there is a contest for the best comments around on dA?
Devious Technology is very proud to announce one of deviantART’s most highly anticipated projects – Portfolio: The Awesome Version!! Portfolio is the simplest and most professional tool on the Internet for formal presentation and review of artwork, and the best part is: it's available to everyone for FREE!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
